Our clinics offer volunteer optometrists or ophthalmologists the use of portable examination equipment to examine each patient’s eyes for such conditions as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, cancer, etc. just as they would in a traditional office setting. In addition to a thorough eye examination, we also provide each patient with an eyeglass prescription.
Following the exam, the patient will choose from a selection of eyeglass frames provided by Seeing and Believing. Lenses will be made for the frame according to the prescription. The glasses will then be delivered to the patient within approximately two weeks of the event.
